I spent most of my childhood and early adulthood in Downey - I purchased a home in 2020 in La Habra and cannot express how much I miss this place. I honestly used to eat here at least once or twice a week. The food here is so good and tastes so authentic! The same women who ran this establishment 15 years ago are still here as well as a few of the cooks. The service is amazing. Although it's a super small spot with minimal seating, it's honestly some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. If you're in the Downey / South Gate area and are looking for some legit Mexican food; this is it.

Told by a local that if I wanted something over the top and delicious that I needed to come here and have their Super Wet burrito. It's a small place with enough room to order and wait to go for a group of 6. Eye sight directly into the kitchen so you can see them make you your order. Let me just say this burrito was bigger than I expected. I unfortunately didn't take a pic of my food but it was filled with the works. Over all it was good the cashier was a bit rude but I'm sure it was a long day
Solid food, super burrito is big enough to be two burritos and will definitely fill you up. Tacos are solid great little spot to get Some Mexican food.
